1. Plenty of hugs and kisses

2. Kind and loving words and

3. A boat load of goodies.

I'm sure that you have experienced at least one of these. As for number three, there doesn't seem to be a time when their wasn't at least a bowl of candy at my grandma's house. There are so many memories of visiting grandma, that I don't know where to begin!
No matter what the occasion, going to grandma's house is always filled with giggles and smiles. I remember those lovely thanksgiving afternoons when we'd go and visit my grandmother for a luncheon. Her house was filled with the aroma of freshly baked turkey smothered with gravy, and of course all of the regular side dishes, with that one unique recipe that had been passed down from an early relative. And later that thanksgiving evening, I recall going over to my fraternal grandparent's cozy house for a Thanksgiving supper. Besides Thanksgiving, there are many other holidays I remember spending with my grandparents. For example, a tradition of my maternal grandparents was that we would celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. I remember how all of the relatives would gather at their house, and how we'd play with our cousin Chloe. We'd also eat pizza and open Christmas presents. I remember how eager all of us children were to tear open those mysterious packages underneath the colorfully lit Christmas tree. I have tons more memories to share, yet I hardly have enough room to write them all. I still cherish my visits to grandma, and always will.
I know that everybody has one or more of these memories, of going to grandmas, and if so I ask you to share them with me. Please write a comment concerning a memory you have with your grandma. I'd love to hear them all! :)
